I figured it’d be cool to have my full setup outlined here, given that I’m frequently talking about it with friends and colleagues.

Desk

I have an Ikea Karlby worktop, with the Flexispot E7 standing desk frame.

I previously had the countertop mounted directly to the wall, but found the lack of flexibility didn’t work for me at all. I move adjust my chair and desk somewhat frequently, so having a standing desk has been a game changer.

I primarily stand during meetings, but also do so to try and break up my day a bit.

Workstation

I use a MacBook Pro 14" with an M3 Pro as my daily driver (I used an M1 Pro MacBook Pro for the years before), connected to a Dell G3223Q 32" 4K monitor.

My keyboard is a Kinesis Advantage360 with Gateron Brown switches.

My mouse is a Logitech MX Vertical, though I use a Logitech G502 X for gaming.

My webcam is a Logitech Brio 4K.

Below my webcam I have a BenQ ScreenBar Halo. When these became trendy, I thought they seemed completely unnecessary. I eventually caved and bought one, and now couldn’t imagine not having one at my desk. It makes long programming sessions much more comfortable.
